Punn with a cat

Hi! I'm Punn Lertjaturaphat.

I graduated from KAIST, where I majored in Industrial Design and Computer Science. Previously, I worked with Professor Andrea Bianchi in Make Lab.

My motivation in design lies in intersection between physical product and digital interaction. I am interested in wide variety of design and realization; from traditional product design to programmed interaction, because I believe designing is more impactful (and more fun) when one is not confined to a single method.

My motivation in research lies in making difficult interactions easy. I strive to make tools that help people think and see. Tools that let people be in control. Interaction that enhances the creative process, not by making it faster or easier but by helping people understand it better. Heavily inspired by Bret Victor.

Weekends and end of the days I am going to either be making weird sounds on my synths or bouldering. I also enjoy talking to shop keepers and lunch ladies, holding up the lines on busy days.
